Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied. For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired like armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with another item of the same type however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded. Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item for example, increasing its damage. Players can reroll their equipment in three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health. Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces. Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next success result is rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted. Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. Once they're opened they show a complete description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins. In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool. Growthstones Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts. To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item then click the “level up button”. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone. After deciding on the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item. The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the item's durability. This makes it an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting a strain on their bank account. Furthermore players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the “transfer” tab. For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several ways to obtain these stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally, players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones. Leveling Leveling is an optional feature that lets players increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will be upgraded to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been attained. Items with upgraded base stats will display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at once. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be used in addition to an initial level for the equipment. The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process. An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will increase by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19. When item upgrading reaches its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will come with discounts. Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade. Requirements Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium and a number Upgrade tokens. The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an item, it cannot be removed and substituted without restriction, however glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions. Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats. The upgrade to the helm “Foundation of the Sun”, for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement “Wildfire” increases damage to weapons. Certain items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more because it allows players to get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version. The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of that item as well as the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade. Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
